Wondering how to transition your 2023 reports to 2024? We got you! 🚀

Here are 2 simple ways to smoothly transition your reports to 2024:

1 - Leave them as is: If your reports are using the “This year’’ date range, they will automatically be transitioned to 2024 on 1/1/2024.

Note: This will delete the 2023 numbers from the report once it updates to 2024, so you may consider using a Custom Date Range instead! More in bullet 2 below 👇

2 - Set up a custom date range:

If your reports were created based on the "This year" date range, we recommend changing the date range to "custom." This way, you can pick any dates you want. You can even pick an end date that is far in the future. This is helpful if you want to update your reports for the next year but still keep the old data. For example, you could set the end date to December 31, 2025, and your report will automatically run until the end of 2025!

The LiveFlow reports will show the information for 2024 because that is the year we are in based on the "This year" date range selected. To change it back to 2023, You would need to restore the previous version of a google sheet and update the reports to a custom date range. Here's how to do that:👇

First, Click on the Open version history:

Next, choose the last version from before 2024 in the right panel, then click Restore this version.

Sheets will ask you to confirm, so click Restore.

A few seconds later your spreadsheet will reload and you will be back to 2023 reports:

Finally, Set a custom date range from 1/1/2023 until 12/31/2024, and it will automatically include both years (2023 & 2024) of data.

  1. Open “LiveFlow for QuickBooks” under Google Sheets Extensions

  2. Go to Manage Reports to find your existing reports

  3. Choose your report

  4. Click on Choose Date Range

  5. Inside the dropdown menu, scroll up to the top

  6. Choose Custom

  7. Specify your start and end date (i.e. 01/01/2023 and 12/31/2024)

  8. Click the Update & refresh report button to update the settings.
