One of the smartest things about working with live financial data in Google Sheets that's imported using LiveFlow is that you can insert your own rows and columns directly inside your live report, which don't break when you refresh your data.

Here's how to use it:

  1. Import a report with LiveFlow (i.e. a Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, A/P, A/R or any other report).

  2. Insert your own columns and/or rows into the report. This could be a Budget column in your P&L, a Gross Margin or Operating Margin row in your P&L or any other custom formula that you're looking at.

  3. Now, refresh your report, or simply set up an automatic hourly refresh, so that your report is always up-to-date without you having to do anything.

Try it out!
